Sevak/Sevika Passed +2 or its equivalent examination with C.T/ D.I.E.T training and Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) pass.
Tribal Language TeacherPassed 10+2 Arts/ Science/ Commerce or its equivalent examination with CT/ D.I.E.T training and OTET pass and also have proficiency in the tribal language (Soura, Kuvi, Kui, Oram, Munda/Mundari, Sadri, Bhuyan, Ho, Santali, Juang, Desia, Gadaba, Kisan,Koya, Bonda) for which he/she is applying.
TGT – ArtsBachelor’s degree in arts/ commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) and bachelor’s in education (B.Ed.)/ 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR Four year integrated B.A. B.Ed. with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder).The candidate must have passed OSSTET.
TGT Science (PCM) & TGT Science (CBZ)Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ B.Tech/ BE with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR
Four year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder).
The candidate must have passed OSSTET.
Hindi TeacherBachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the electives/ optional/ pass/ honours subject and One of the following training qualifications:
a. Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
b. B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE.
c. B.Ed. in Hindi a course prescribed by NCTE from a Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras. OR
Bachelor’s degree with one of the following qualifications:
a. Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha.
b. Shastri (Hindi) from Odisha Rastrabhasa Parishad, Puri.
c. Snataka(Acquired by June-2005, the date upto which the temporary recognition has been granted) from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Odisha, Cuttack. And
One of the following training qualifications:
a. Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
b. B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE.

Note:- Minimum marks for SEBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Sportsperson/ Ex-Serviceman candidates is 45% and for all other candidates 50% is required.
